Change-a-Plans

No Monday ride do to some fecus. Maybe Teus.
I did spin on the trainer and do some light weights for my knee and upper body. So it wasn't a wash. In fact it was probably best. Think I may have been rushing recovery and with the sore knee I don't need a problems. Felt good. Got a sweat on and ate some dinner whilst watching "The Science of Lance" on the Discovery Channel. Nice.

Its 7.15pm in the U.K on Tues 28th June & im at work on the late shift, really bored. Apart from cycling there is one other thing me & the Hokey man have in common is that we HATE our jobs. Or do all cyclist hate there jobs regardless because its time that they feel they should be on the pedals. What are your thoughts????

Work is crap, but you're screwed 'cause how are you gonna pay for those hoochie parts with jing?
This must really suck for you. This time last week you would a been grinding up some 25% grade.
3 hours from now I'll be on the trail.

I feel really empty right now, no focus at all. Now ive sampled an event like that, its like a DRUG & i wanna do it again & again asap.Ive told Rach (Wife) that im doing the Raid Alpine in 2 years, lets just say it fell on deaf ears but i reckon if i mention it every day for 2 years then she will let me go just to get me to shut the F**K up, well thats my plan anyway. If I was single it would be Raid Alpine next year & Raid Dolomite the next but with the baby on the way its 2 years time at best.

Man I know the feeling that's why I need to focus on a new race and training or it will be "rope to the attic" time (to quote my buddies grandfather)

Find yousefl a good local event and focus on it.

Jules gettin' props on the chamois, I like it! UKraig I loved your sweet ride videos, thanks for sharing them with Jas. It's been quite a year for you already: baby on the way, the Reds doing QUITE well, and a kick ass trip to France. Later gentlemen.
