Sat. Ride & UKraig Checks In
Back in the saddle! Woo-Hoo! Only bad was the deep bruise on the side of my upper knee (from about 3 or 4 Big Bear crashes) apparently has not healed, so after a while it got a little tight and sore. Went to Boyce on my Titus HCR hard tail. Rode for 1:45. Trails were super dry and temps were nice in the woods. Might hit the road tomorrow if my knee feels ok.
My man in the UK, Craig (code name: UKraig) has check in with some wonderful video phone footage from his raid in the Pyrenees. Looks like it was an epic adventure that he won't soon forget. We cyclists seem to always be on some sort of adventure. Why can't we get more people to PUT. THE. REMOTE. DOWN! And STEP AWAY FROM THE DONUT! ?

Up in UKraig's grill on the Col de Aubisque
He sent some cool vid. If anyone would (with high speed internet) wants to check out some kick ass footage. Drop me a line at jmahokey1@comcast.net and I'll send out.
The views are stunning.
Whata-we-got, like 9 or 10 days till the Tour? Sweet!! Post-ride dinner in front of the tube watching cycling. THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!
Might have to do up some kind of cool Tour Kick Off ride. Wish I could get a good century route for Western PA. That would be kick ass way to welcome in the start of the only cycling coverage the US will most likely ever see again (Thanks Lance).
Later.
