Happy Birthday To Me!
Another year older. 34 today. Shhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeit. Hey at least next year I can race Expert-Vet and put the hammer down with to old-heads.
Wifey baked me a carrot cake (my fave) from scratch. This is huge 'cause cooking isn't really her thing. I'm the cook. But apparently baking IS her thing. She and B-Man also got me the new Chris Carmichael Book "Cooking For Fitness". Thanks!!
This is the first birthday in 4 years that I haven't celebrated by riding Trail 401 in Crested Butte, CO. Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like riding at 11,000' and nothing says "F!" like celebrating a birthday in White Oak. Oh well, next year. If you go to one mountain bike mecca, make it CB. When I die I want my ashes spread at the base of Gothic or in that perfect high mountain meadow at the highest elevation of 401.
Good road ride in last night. little over 30 miles with an Avg. speed of 18.7 mph. Sweet!
Got my new Sidi Bullet 2s from www.bikeman.com yesterday. Fit perfect. Put cleats on last night. Hope this helps with some of my knee issues.
Got the new Sleater Kinney CD yesterday... Whooo Mama! Freaking rocks.

I thought I'd comment on your blog since you commented on mine. The new SK is awesome. I got it on vinyl...have a sort of fetish for vinyl (records that is). Oh...Happy B-Day. I turned 34 last month. And finally, your blog's title is gross. Soiled indeed!!!
