Another Post (Bored or Productive? Not Sure)
Nice Friday at work. Busy enough that the day went fast. Slow enough to cruise the web and see the NORBA Nationals (Marathon) results. Travis Brown came up with the win. Found this photo of him on cyclingnews.com, check out the bar set up he used. Must have worked...
Since he won:

Closer look at the bars...

Interesting.
Not much going on this Friday. Watching Thomas The Train, Making Mexican and drinking a couple Pale Ales with Wifey. Working it for the Bat Signal. HA!
Hope to ride tomorrow. Road or Dirt. Makes no difference to me. Might take the Titus on the road for some extened miles, in case I do Iron Cross.
The Month of Mud race series is coming up too. Not sure If I'll do it. Like 25 beans a race for 5 weeks and you know I'll get spanked. But I dig a good spank.
Alright. Dinner's done.
Later.

He shaved his burns!
I wonder if those bars are nice for sitting forward on a long climb, sort of an aero-bar effect?
We had a bunch of guys do that with bar-ends on Trans-Iowa.
Seems like it would be more comfy with the bar ends in the normal position.
No burns: sadness.
Bontrager showed a handlebar made of carbon with molded in extensions like that at the Trek show in August. I think they were risers though. You know, Moots was the instigator of the barend craze, and they were meant to be mounted like Travis has 'em there! So, really, this is old skool!
