Better Living Through Chemistry
Wow, what a day. B-Man's sick so I took a personal day from work to hang with him.
Stats from today: 3 Diaper Changes (no poop), 3 Thomas The Tank Engine Episodes and 3 readings of Green Eggs and Ham at his request! I now hate Green Eggs and Ham. I will not read it in a house. I will not read it with a mouse.
After his mid day nap it was over to my Docs to get the name of a good "snipper" for the Big-V and to talk to her about Winter Jason. The visit was very productive.
Didn't feel much like riding tonight after a semi stressful day, but I did spin my legs for a half hour while I listened to some downloads from Enduranceradio.com.
Listened to one nutritionist talk about protein for recovery and during exercise. He said one of his favorite post work out recovery drinks is...

Yep, Chocolate Milk. Milk is a quality protein and the chocolate adds carbs. It's readily available and cheap. Hmmm. Not sure my stomach will handle after mega hard efforts, but after a session of spinning and weights it might.
I also got the El Santo back in riding shape. Lube, tubes, tire switch, shocks pumped etc.
I put so much garlic in tonight's dinner that my tongue feels like it's covered in warm hair.
Later. Time to look at naked people web-sites. I'M KIDDING, RELAX!! EEESH!

I recal a coach saying that Ovaltine or similar breakfast drink is as good a recovery drink as Endurox, etc... The only problem for me is all those powdered drinks have lactose in them which isn't good for the lactose intolerant
