Über Quick Post

Quick 12 miles single track ride tonight on the El Santo. Bike was great, legs felt great, and the new Panaracer Cinders look to be sweet and tacky. Soon as I eat I'll be putting some fresh "put my mind at ease" tubes in them so as to have one less thing to worry about on the starting line. Still may end up on the Dos Niner, either way I know that I'll be on a great bike.

The trails were so dry tonight I could have used road slicks. Too bad the race looks to be the complete opposite of tonight given that there's like a 99.9% chance of rain. Bring it on! I've waited since September for this and trained nearly 200 hours since November. I don't care about placing, just about knowing that I did my best and had some fun.
