I Suffer From D.O.C.A.
Great road ride tonight. Hit all the major climbs in my local post work loop repertoire. Legs felt pretty spanky. Pefect night for riding. Could have been a tad warmer for me, but It was base/jersey/shorts weather. Got 2 hours/31.5 miles in.
I'm suffering from D.O.C.A.- Delayed Onset Chap Ass. What's up with that? Saturday I forgot to take my Juice with me. Felt fine the whole race, on the trainer Monday but today at work I started Chapin' up and then tonight's ride made it worse. Gonna put some of the Juice on now, since it has some shea butter in it to help moisten up the bun brothers and keep them from getting any worse.
Hitting the trails tomorrow night on the Dos Niner for some big wheel lovin. Speaking of that. Me and B-Man were down in the basement working on bikes yesterday (ok I was working on El Santo and he was playing with some Elmo toy), he puts his hand on the Dos Niner's wheel and says "BIG wheel daddy!" I said "you know it son", then I sat him down for a little father-son chit chat on the benefits of the 29" wheel and why the Salsa Dos Niner rocks. He seemed a little glazed over at the time, but I think we made some real progress.
