The Rehab Continues...
The rehab of El Santo continues from Saturday. Yikes!
Riding some of this...

In conditions like this...

Will get you thi$...

Yikes! Now I know why on lap 5 my wheel wouldn't turn. I thought I just had some mud clogged in the stays but here the pads had warn so far down, I mean COMPLETELY THE F*CK OFF!!! that when I applied the rear brake the pad spring got all jacked up and left me a tad f*cked in the brake department. Yoi!!!
In better news: Big shouts out of congratulations to Andy and Jeff for their top 10 finishes at the Cohutta 100 race. Way to go guys! Check out their blogs for some great race reports and photos.
Time for some shut eye. Trying to hit the road for a couple hours post work tomorrow. I hate work. Just thought I'd mention that? But gotz to pay for brake pads right?
Later
p.s. photo props to: Me, Dennis Smith, & Chris Heerschap. Thanks!

yikes, how did the rotors fare? I would think that all of that metal to metal would have chewed those suckers up as well.
They're not too bad, shouldn't be a problem. I hope.
Such a pitch(bad luck)! How was the sound? With the weather conditions you probably had no ears for it.
Sound wasn't bad. There was so much mud that I think that dulled the sound and may have saved my rotors from that metal/metal contact that Rick mentioned.
