Expert Vets, Here I Come!
So, I turned 35 today. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Stayed home from work today against my will to be with an under the weather B-Man. There was some stress I would have rather not have had on my birthday, but whatayagonnado?
I had planned on taking today off from riding, but when Wifey reminded me that I supposed to help my bro/sis in-law move tomorrow I had to improvise, get my time in, and hit the road in some serious sweaty ball heat tonight.
This made 3 road rides in a row, and I was freaking spent! If this was the Tour I would have been raising my hand, asking for the team car and climbing off. BUT it's not, so I plugged through 1:45/30 miles, came home and got into the newly purchased Victory Hop Devil cooked up some Mexican chow.

Tried to tell myself that being 35 isn't so bad. Didn't REALLY start to think that 'till I hit beer #4.
Thanks to all the folks who gave shouts out of support for Wifey. She really apprecieated it.
Well that's it fo now. Here's a couple photos from today's ride...

Big D coming my way.
And going...

When you're riding tomorrow, think of me busting a nut lifting some sleeper/sofa.
Later.

Happy birthday a few days late. My buddy, Dave Wilson, turned 36 back in June and has been having the fastest season of his career this year and is probably going to be upgrading to semi-pro now. Age isn't everything... Especially in the ultra-enduro scene.
Thanks Travis! I hope I can be as lucky. Hope Nationals went well for you. JM
happy birthday old man. I would have guessed by your humor that you were half that age! By my calcs, that would make me about 5 yrs old.
happy b-day! 35 ain't so bad. it's 85 that's a kick in the nads - you got 50 more bikin' yrs to go.
Thanks all. jm
