I've Had Better...
Not much going on today. Off day from the bike and work sucked a long hairy one. One of those days that by the end of the day I'm on Monster.com looking for jobs. Sad part is I want out of the art field ALL together but I'm not sure what other jobs I'm qualified for with 14 years experience in graphic art. I've even started looking in to being a mail man. From the looks of it you have to wait for someone to die to get in there.
Not to sound to Office Space, but damn I hate when co workers say the following...1. "Smile!" 2. "Having fun yet?" 3. "Is it Friday yet?" My reply to all is pretty much silence or a "f*ck you" under my breath. Oh well 'nough real life, lets talk bikes....
Think I'm going to train for the next few weeks and then pound out some racing come August with a 6, 18 and a 24. The MASS 6 will be an (A) race. The 18 is a (C) just to get some night riding and training in with some friends out of state and finish up at 7 Springs on Labor Day. That race is just too close to home not to do and is alway packed with the Who's Who of the local race scene and I'll consider it a (B).
Oh well, time to get back on Monster.com. How hard can it be to find a job making between 25K and 30K that allows me to still work hard at being the best mediocre bike racer I can be. Hmmmm. This might be tough.
Later.

wow, thats a lot of racing for one month. Better get the chamois cream ready or you'll be one huge saddle sore.
The 18 is up in the air. The 6 is the first week in Aug. and the 24 is the 1st week in Sept. So as far as those I'm good to go (insert Taco Bell hand gesture here).
if all goes well, I'll see you at 2 of the 3.... no way to end the season but with a bang right !
