End Of A Sweet Week
Headed out to Papa-M's with B-Man today. While B-Man hung with my dad, I headed out for 2+ hours of road goodness.
It was nice and crisp without a cloud in the sky. Had an annoying head wind for about half the ride, but it just made for a better workout. Tried to keep it slow and stayed seated on many climbs that I normally kind of attack (as much as I "attack").
Ended up with a 'bout 2:12 of ride time and a bit over 38 miles. I'll take that in f*cking December!!
Wifey and I watched the Iron Man coverage on NBC yesterday. Blubbered like a couple of babies watching it. Good stuff.
All in all today capped off a good week of training with 9+ hours of of trainer/road saddle time . Tomorrow will either be a day off or some light spinning.
Later.

sweet base you're building there. Numbers like those about match up with my best weeks from this summer! rock it.
I feel good about the numbers too. last year I did a lot more cross training to get those kinds of numbers, this past week was pure saddle time, although most of it on the trainer.
This week will most likely be a dip to recover a bit. This time of year I don't want to get too rund down and then sick.

Good to see you getting out and braving the cold!
Was watching the IronMan coverage too. Thinking about how they could cover 24 MTB like that. It would be cool.
Michellie rode with us on our group ride 1 week after winning IronMan Arizona and still kicked ass.
