Off Day Deal
No rides/workouts planned today. Just some R&R with a twist of grocery shopping.
I'm no fan of Wal-Mart, not sure who really is, but the local grocery store's outrageous high prices pretty much force me to shop there. Anyway, Wally World threw me an f'ing bone today with this buy...
Even B-Man and Green Goblin were intrigued by the deal...

I hear ya, I can't stand going in wally world but with how expensive our hannaford has gotten we may be forced soon.
you guys need to netflix the documentary. The high cost of a low price. Sell so low you strangle the rest. You'll never go into one again after seeing the film. At least I hope not.
Oh, I'm well aware of how they F*ck folks. But the main grocery store here does a "savings card" thing that supposedly saves you money on gas at their station.
Meanwhile they make up for the "savings" by charging $3.00 (I'm NOT kidding) for a pound of whole wheat pasta. Wal-Mart = 99¢
I also believe that 90% of businesses are run the same way. Giant Ealge wouldn't be shedding any tears if the local Wal-Mart or Foodland went under.
I Gotz billz/race fees to pay and bikes to buy ;) At this point in my life I'm just looking to save some dough.
I doubt that Giant Eagle (the grocery store in question) is going out of business because of me, but if they do, so be it. They should worry more about lowering our grocery bill than saving me 10¢ on a gallon of gas and f*cking me with the whole wheat pasta and $6.00 cereal.
Right now, low price wins. At least until I start making more cash. Which if it hasn't happend after 16 years of slinging art, is not gonna happen anytime soon.
I hit up whichever store has what I use at a low price. Giant Eagle always has Guiltless Gourmet chips for $2.50 a bag, so that's who gets my dough.
In a perfect world Wifey and I would make a ton dough and we'd shop a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. But we don't.
Wow, holy Teddy K. rant! Time to build that cabin in the woods and join that commune, and start growing my own stuff. (NO YANCY WE'RE NOT!)
Yeah, I wish we would get a T-Joes closer. That's hands down my favorite. Closest one is about 40 minutes away. Whole Paycheck is pretty much out except for fresh fish. I'm all for paying a bit more for organic good stuff etc... But that store is out of hand.
They just opened one here in da 'Burgh. Haven't been in it yet. I could dig working at a joint like that just to get the f'ing discount.
