Shleprock!!

Rained all a.m. here, but the weather looked to just be cloudy for the post work road ride. BUT as I got within 3 miles of my ride's launching pad it started f'ing pouring! Sh*t! I had no rain jacket, it was a cool rain and I had NO desire to get soaked, cold and nipply. So I aborted and turned around to head home. Then the road I took to come home was under construction and I got stuck in it. 35 minutes later I arrive back at 1147.

Needed to burn off some work day/no ride rage (guy sees FIVE proofs, on 5th proof says he want cars in order by year! UGGGGGG!!!), so I got on the trainer and did a quick spin to loosen my legs. Riding the trainer in the spring/summer is the ultimate kick in the junk. Nothing like spinning, looking down and seeing tan lines peeking out to rub your shnoz in the fact that you're NOT outside. Grrrr!

Trainer session done. Rain stopped. Mother Nature. Yyyoooou BITCH! ;)

Oh well, at least Grande Alberto's team e mail update was promising. Looks like Salsa is gonna help out the team by making sure we get enough Mamasita's on the next shipment. Best case- in 20 days I'll be able to get my white, sagging ass on it. JOY! Thanks as always to Salsa, and Al at Bikeman.com for the generosity and hard work.
