Sweet Road Goodness
Got a nice 2 hour post work road ride in tonight. My normal loop. 2 hours, 33.5 miles. Weather was just incredible and the legs felt snappy.
Tonight was one of those rides that you somehow feel like your season's fitness is in bloom. Don't worry, I'm not getting all cocky on your asses, I just mean that my legs have that good "this climb isn't as tough as it was 2 months ago" feeling and that makes me happy.
The 2007 SRAM X9 Group got a great review over on CyclingNews.com. I run a mix of 2006 X0/X9 on the Dos Niner and will be running 2007 X9 Triggers/Drive on the Mamasita when she gets here, so seeing a good review makes me feel good.
You want some good reading check out Dave Harris' account of his attempt at a Grand Loop Solo TT last weekend. It's a good read and damn cool adventure.
And for Kerkove I give this nugget.... We've all seen his teammate Irina Kalentieva on his site. Well I found this interview with her over on www.fonsmtb.be.
I can't really understand it but if want to see a fast as hell Euro-chicky working the Ergon charm on folks you can fetch the download HERE.
Oh well, time for some sleep. Hope to get some dirt time in tomorrow.
Later.

used the x9 triggers this weekend during the race and they work great. sort of a toss up between those and my x0 twists.
Yes, she is better looking than me!
Oh, and if you want more pics....I got'em!
And...what do I have to do to get you to try/use/lust after Ergon grips?
:-)
you could get ME to try some on my el mariachi! I've been wanting to try some for a while. :)
