One Degree Away From The Stars & Bars

Not much going down tonight. Night off of the bike and in the yard for some lawn mowing. Great. Might try to get out for some single track tomorrow. I'd like to stay off the road bike 'till I can get my new tires on.

I am proud to say that I'm one degree away from a national champ! Jenny Lewis-Torres, the daughter of my good friends Fernando and Loretta took home the stars and stripes from Mt. Snow last weekend.

In a day and age when many 12 year olds would rather sit around and play video games Jenny has been going out and laying some smack down on the race course with a smile on her face. Of course as sweet as Jenny is "laying smack" may be a bit much.

Congratulations to Jenny on her stars and stripes jersey, I'm very proud. Also congrats to Fernando and Loretta for being the sort of parents that encourage their daughter to race and ride. Wait 'til B-Man gets a look at this! I think his crush on Jenny may just get tad stronger. HA!
