There Is A Light...

.."if a double-decker bus
crashes into us

to die by your side
is such a heavenly way to die
and if a ten ton truck
kills the both of us
to die by your side
well the pleasure, the privilege is mine
There is a light that never goes out..."

"There Is A Light That Never Goes Out"
- The Smiths

Happy 10 Year Anniversary Wifey!

The above Smiths song- "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" was to be our song at our wedding reception 10 years ago, except the dude who we paid to learn/play the song failed to do so.

Wifey told me she dug it too, but part of me thinks she only agreed to the song as a concession to keep my original plan of running down the aisle throwing gladiolus to "This Charming Man" from coming to fruition.

Marriage can be tough sometimes, life is tough. but there's no one else I'd rather have shared the last 10 years with. Hope she keeps me around for 10+ more.

Later.

Congrats! We just banged out number 9. Sometimes we have to use the granny gear, but we've hit some sweet kickers too.

I think Bryan Adams Nailed it when he sang:

Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

Look into your heart - you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all - I would sacrifice

Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way

Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you

Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
