Bizarre-O Monday

Usually Monday is reserved for rain, bad moods, crankiness and the start of another work week. But THIS Monday was damn fine! It was Bizarre-O Monday!

First I woke to sunshine, little/no pain in my rib (knock on wood) and it held up through the day. My coughing spells seem to have stopped too and I avoided a trip to the Docs. I still may hit the chiro later in the week, just to get all back in line after a season of putting lower back through the ringer.

But THIS was the BEST...

Just before I left for lunch today I got the call that my #1 Bottle Giver, my Ace Pit Chief, My #1 Crime Fighter, My Numero Uno- Wifey got the job that she interviewed for a a week or so ago. WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! She (and I) couldn't be happier! Wifey is super stoked to be back slinging law in the form that she'll be slinging. I'm super proud of her. Plus now I can be guilt free in my slack art job and not feel like I'm letting my family down.

So tonight we partied BIG time. OK, not really. I stopped and got Wifey a (750ml) bottle of La Fin Du Monde (champagne is for saps!) and while it chilled, she talked to her friends and family I had B-man out on his bike. Then after B-Man's bath things really got crazy! I made up some Boca, Bean & Veggie Burritos, poured up two La Fin's for me and Wifey, and a tall glass of juice for B-Man, we turned on Tak & The Power of JuJu and got crazy. Now I'm bloggin' and sippin' green tea. Good times! And one of the best Mondays (days) we've had in a long time.

Tomorrow I plan to get out and futz around on the Dos Niner. Any decision on this Saturday's race will be made later in the week. I'll just be happy to get some riding in. Worry about the racing later.
