Have Fun Storming The Castle!

Wow, fall gave me a mental kick in the ballz big time today. First kick was the realization that my sweet post work rides at Boyce are done for a while. The second kick came in the form of some late afternoon down pours and darkness. But the ball kick pain was short lived, since it made descending to the basement for this off season's first official work out a lot easier.

Tonight was weights and core stuff with a mix of spinning added in between sets (mostly just to warm up and stay warm). Felt good and I pack as much into an hour as I can. I attacked the weights with all the gusto of an 11 year old girl. I'm sure I was lifting about as much weight as one too.

I already have 3 race dates pretty much confirmed for next season. April 19th looks to be the date for the 2nd Annual Leesburg Bakers Doz, May 3rd/4th is the 12 Hours of Lodi Farms and June 7th is the 24 Hours of Big Bear. If Big Bear doesn't happen I'll head to Mohican, but I think it will.

Why has my 3.5 year old son watched The Princess Bride 4 times in 48 hours??? He thinks it's funny (way more than I do) and digs all the fencing/sword fighting.
