I Could Have Done It!
I know I could have done it. I could have eaten ONE more basket of chips and Salsa at Mad Mex last night. All I had to do was ask. I failed. My belly said "YES! I want them!". My mind said "nooooooo". I seriously ate like a big pig yesterday OR as they say south of the border "Un Cerdo Grande". I was like a Lifetime TV movie of the week about some bulimic woman on food binge! There was just no vomit. Just me shoveling Mexican food down my throat like I never saw food before. Oh well, sometimes you need to fall of the dietary wagon in order to know what direction you want to go.
No riding today. Family time and what not. Not feeling the greatest. B-Man has rocked a slight cold for the past week and now I just feel a bit weak and not "right". So I'm taking some doctor prescribed Dog Fish Head Indian Brown Ale to kill the germs. Speaking of beverage. I mentioned that Troeg's Nugget Nectar the other day. DAAAMMMMN!! It's one of the best highly hopped beers I've ever had. I must track a case down. So crisp. So bitter. So freaking GOOD!!
In bike stuff, you must go check out my fellow Amigo Matt's blog. Matt has just got his cheeks on a Salsa La Cruz Complete and has some feed back and some kick ass pics of it after an inaugural 50 miler yesterday. Congrats on the bike man. Enjoy it.
Well time to chill a bit. Hope that now sickness comes and have another DFHIBA.
Later.

The Nugget Nectar case is on me, but I've got a couple questions on the Salsa. Check your email.

Oh man, I'm a big sucker for good mexican food followed by couple of select ales or lagers. The German blood pumping in my veins of course loves lagers though...
Thanks for the shout out on the La Cruz review, Amigo! You know, if the roads out your way get much worse, you're gonna' have to start looking at one for yourself. You probably should have one in the quiver anyway. It's an intoxicating steed...
Have a great week Jason!
