Rest & Random Continued

Today will be my 4th and final day off the bike. To tell you the truth I feel great. Legs, ass, hands, etc., All feel fine. Whether I have any mojo in my legs is different story. Not riding is f*cking boring, I'll tell you that much. I've pretty much been doing nothing but working, eating, sleeping, and cruising the Internet for 4 days. Throw in treating myself to a few Stoudt's Pale Ales and you have a yummy, but boring and sort of guilt ridden few days.

Speaking of hands, and how they feel.
I got a box of green goodness in the mail while I was gone...

I can't say enough about what Ergon grips have don for my hands. Last year at The Bakers Dozen I wasn't using Ergon's yet. After the race my hands felt like someone smashed them with a mallet and I had a blister on my palm that looked like a flesh eating bacteria. This year- nothing! My hands were aces! I think I can only come up with ONE thing I don't like about my grips- the shape of the bar end. For 10+ years I used small, straight stubby bars ends. The Ergon's are short in length, but slightly curved. I would prefer to have something a tad more straight. That's my personal pref though. Thanks Ergon!.

That's about it. Back in the saddle for SOMEthing low key tomorrow. Might do some small chain ring road riding. Slow and easy like. I hope.

Check this out. Apparently Arnold Ziffle won Tro Bro Leon.

Snort, Snort.- Nice!

Later.

I have some Ergon and think they're great too. How do you get those green ones though, are they team issue or something?

William- I do get them through my gig with Ergon, but I believe they are available in green through retailers too.

I jumped on the Ergon wagon a couple months back when I got the new GX1's.

These things are great, will never go back. Lightweight and a little small then the GP's (which is good for me) and oh so sweet on the hands.
