Let There Be Ass Crud!!

Packing for the 2008 24 Hours of Big Bear has commenced. Doing some last minute laundry to make sure I have enough gear to get me through the 24 hours. I always take like 5 pairs of bibs and end up wearing the same pair for 24 hours. Ends up being the 24 Hours of Ass Crud. I guess that's why this is "The Soiled Chamois" and NOT "The Incredibly Gay White Roadie Shorts". Let there be ass crud!! Kidding about the roadie thing. Shit, seems like I'm on the road 90% of the time anyway.

The weather has been just hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhorrible! Showers, down pours, mist, if it's wet and can fall from the sky, our lovely Tri State (WV/PA/OH) area has had it the past few days. The good part is that the weekend in Dubya-Vee looks pretty OK, and dare I say HOT AS FRIGGIN' BALLZ! With high temps in the mid 80s to low 90s!!! Can you say curl up in white salty dehydrated ball of human suck and die?? God I hope you can't, because that ain't gonna be me M.F.!! I got me a plan!! Whether it's a GOOD plan or a bad plan remains to be seen. I guess we'll all know come Sunday afternoon.

The Reba is gonna have a new home tomorrow. I'm sorry things didn't work out with the two of us. It could have been sweet, but we just couldn't work things out. I found me a Fox and one of my Rebas had to go. So it was the newest one, so as to fetch me more jing to blow on more bike crap.

Time to make some food, and do that thing were I obsess about this weekend.

It is amazing to me how many people race mtb in white shorts over here. Last year I was at a very very wet race and after a while the white shorts where clearly never going to be wite again and we were getting more of a view than we wanted in some cases. I guess the Assos ones don't go see through, but some of the cheaper ones apparently do...
