Rolling 29" On Limestone
Nice to be back on the bike. I still kept it low key. I busted out the Mamasita to roll 29 inches on 40 miles of hell trail lime stone. Felt good to spin the legs with a nice steady big ring effort. It was nice to ride in a location where I could sort of zone out and listen to my iPod for a change (I never ride with it on the road or trails).

I put on the Maxxis Cross Marks last night. Holy crap do those things roll fast. When Boyce finally dries out (if ever) they are gonna roll hella fast. I think just with the tire change I was gaining an easy 1.5 mph. Being a rider who is totally gay for single track and digs road rides, riding the rail trail can be lame at times. BUT today it felt nice. It felt good to burn calories, spend time listening to some new tunes and mentally map out my plan for rest of the season.
We have ACTUALLY seen some sun here today. A few slivers make it through the gray clouds every so often. I still got rained on for few minutes during my ride, but nothing too bad. Still much better than yesterday's wet bung hole sort of day.
Time to shuck some corn and then get ready to go over Y&Ms later with Wifey and B-Man.
Later.
