1 Down

Today flew by and I won't complain one bit! Lots of non work personal stuff got done to boot. Hit up the Chiropractor for some "adjusting", then dropped the Dos Niner at Master Tom's to let him get all freaky with his torque wrench and make sure everything is spinning, stopping, shifting and rolling the way it's supposed to. I can't say enough about the "magic" that he performs on my bikes. I race like a Novice Clydesdale on acid and he somehow manages to keep me rolling. It's "mind bottling" (see Blades of Glory).

I had some time to stop at Pro Bikes too. I've been longing for THE Endura Mighty Mitt and PB has 'em, so I like bought 'em man. Also got to see Timmy C. hobbling around on his f*cked up hip. He says it's getting better. Hope so. Hate to see a rider down.

Since tonight is Wifey's gym night there was no ride. I found time to make sure all my essential clothing is washed and ready for Saturday. I only have one or two rides on tap this week, so I want to make sure I'm not wearing my best duds for a "slum ride". Bikeman.com clothes (check), Twin-Six socks (check), arm warmers, knee warmers, rain jacket, (check, check, check). Throw in some nasty ass cycling caps and I'm good to go. :)

Check this!...

I THINK I need to buy some new Bag Balm. This one did NOT take kindly to the heat of my car. Grrr! Oh well, I gotz to keep my bag balmed, so a trip to the pharmacy is in order.

Time to make some grub.

Later.

Dude just flip the bag balm can right side up and leave it sitting level in the hot car again. It will make it look and act like brand new. Mine does that a lot but even wilder is when it’s like 100 degrees outside and you’re used to a semi hard or rather thick balm compound then you go to dab some fingers in and it’s like smearing warm butter all over your junk. Mmm if they could make the balm tingle; like maybe add a touch of peppermint or tea tree oil (not like the accidental icy hot encounters we’ve all had) my nads would greatly thank them.

Rock it 4-24.

Peace,
Metro

For accidental *can i borrow some of that ass cream* burning, try Assos. It sucks at first, but after that - you can't feel a thing. It's the Newport Light of chamois lubes.
