Washing of The Dishes and What Not...
Wifey and I finally took delivery of a dishwasher for the casa. It's a portable. It rocks! You would not believe the amount of dishes 2.5 people go through! And Wife and I are VERY SICK of hand washing. I was leery of portable but I have to tell you it rocks! It will live on our sun porch off of the kitchen and roll right over to the sink.
Solo Nationals are tomorrow. I had thought about going to this race earlier in the year, but thought better of it when I saw the drive time and the gas prices. That doesn't mean I'm not regretting NOT doing the race. The flattish power course could have been in my favor and it would have been a pleasure to race a Solo against some of the best racers in the U.S.A.! Good luck to all the folks racing! May you be flat free, bonk free, and injury free for the 24! Brandon (my pick for your winner if not this year, SOON!), Danielle, the O'Deas etc, etc, Good vibes coming your way from WPA!
Tomorrow I will be doing my pilgrimage to the mountain to pay homage to the rocks, roots, and climbs of the Seven Springs race course. My plan has been, and will be until race day to make the course my bitch. Or at least get so used to riding it that my goal lap count will seem easy and I can surpass it come race day.
Today I made my way to the Dark Side T6 style. If you know about it cool. If you don't know about it, you should. Cooler than shit threads from an already cooler than shit company. It would be Creepy if you couldn't find it on their site!
I need to get these bad boys on the Campeon tomorrow...
So that's about it for today. Blathering at an all time low/high. If you were going to pre-ride a race course, what would be your cut off for beers the night before? 1, 2 or 8?? I'm leaning towards 8. But that's just me. Time to track down my crimson headed, green undergarment wearing friend to see what the neighborhood crime sitch is.
Again, good luck to those racing Nine Mile tomorrow and happy riding to everyone else.
Later.
