Yikes!
Well today went MUCH more like a me in a Cross race should. The start whistle blew and before you could say "loafing oaf on a mountain bike" I was passed by 11 or racers on cross bikes. My ass was officially handed to me. Cold, muddy, wet, rain, sleet, did I say wet. It was Cross at it's best and me just trying not to finish DFL. I accomplished that, got a hell of a work out in and had some fun. Wanted to stay and watch the "A" race, but by the time the "B"s were done I was nearly hypothermic and split for home. Full race report later.
Later.

dude, yeah, that was more like a real cross race. perfect cross weather. and we had an ok turnout for the race. I'm told 24 registered, but 19 starters in the B race, but it felt like more, about similar in the C race. A race looks like no one showed up.
lots of pics have already been sent out.

Def a course for a cross bike instead of a mtn bike, though.
also, I think we should have one short, succinct post for the probikes blog that links back to the other blogs.
btw, if the cross bug has bit you, USGP races next year w/ 120+ starters, and UCI races with 50 or 100 racers!
Ha, thanks! Link back is cool. If we can get f*cking Don to get a blog! ;)
Kidding Don.

No chance, be happy I give race reports. Btw, have you read my race reports? That is why I don't blog.
I am still trying to warm up from the race today.
Dude your reports kick ass.
8 beers and a 1/2 pot of Chili warmed my ass up good.
...9! (I think...) Go Stillers!
Yeah, but f*cking Schlitz does NOT count!
