Gonna make this short, since I'm sitting here in stank chamois, just off the trainer. I just want to say Happy New Year to all my peeps, teammates, former teammates, sponsors, fellow bike geeks, friends, family, readers, Romans, countrymen, etc., etc., etc., Let the year of the back strain, blood clot, strep throat, pink eye, DNF, and general malaise f*cking END! And let 2009 start!
Wishing you all Top 5 finishes, long rides, endless single track, no traffic roads, safe journeys, no mechanicals (unless I'm racing against you, then that's my only shot!), no flats, and numbless nether regions in 2009. Be safe if you venture out tonight. Lot dumb asses out there.

Amen to all of that! Have a great year in 2009! Here is to hope that we can all get ahead of the pack at least ONCE!
