Yeesh, THAT'S a hump day!

Man, short post tonight due to being busy as frig! First I hit the trainer for and hour of big gear knee blow out force intervals, then it was cooking up some White Trash Mexicana. Clean some dishes, watch a few minutes of TV with Wifey and B-Man and then back to the Stankment to install new rear brake pads on the Dos Niner. I love the fact that installing brake pads can take me up to 45 minutes. My buddy Tom does it for me in under 2. God do I suck at anything "wrench" related. It's sad. Real sad.

After that was all done I finally got some race recap and photos up on the Pro Bikes race blog. Now it's almost 10:30 and I'm beat! The only sounds in the house are me typing, Wifey snoring and the occasional sigh from B-Man. I SSSSO want to record her snoring. Eeesh. I haven't heard her snore like this since she was Prego, and that was almost 5 years ago. How much shit do you think I'm gonna catch for writing this?

Gotta get some sleep. More crap tomorrow.

Later.

Why do I so often feel like the Whirlpool Kid?

It's one thing to feel like the whirlpool kid, but it's another altogether to be him! That's where I am at the moment and somehow I have to get rid of enough fat that people don't laugh at me when I take out my bling new road bike when the winter fades next spring...

That is the best photo you have ever put up on the blog. I think it is better to feel like the Whirlpool kid rather than feeling like his wheels! His wheels must feel like they have the pressure of the world on their backs.

William- I doubt you're too bad, and we all need a winter layer. OK, I might have nervous breakdown if I gain one more pound, BUT MOST folks need a winter layer!

Don, I do what I can man. Thanks for that 2x9 info yesterday. My Comcast e mail was jacked (AGAIN!!) so I couldn't reply.

Whirlpool Kid

That is me - and the local bike shop makes a fantastic trade by regulary building new road wheels for me.

As long as I have fun I don't care what other people say.
