Keep A Low Profile Sunday
I kept it reallllll chill today. Just hung with my family, cruised the Net and worked a bit more on my new "project". I also made some REAL progess on my Yakima rack for the XB. I was having a bitch of a time getting the Q-clips locked in place. The directions made it sound like they should "slide right in". Yeah, there is a LOT more finesse involved and I can't believe the directions have you doing the part with the rack in place on top the the car. There was NO WAY I was getting those clips in place with the think resting on the car. Eeesh. I could bitch more, but I did finally get them in, so I won't.
I have to go do some shopping for a seat post. Freaking eBay! There are some great prices out there on eBay, but you have to watch you don't get sucked into that I NEED TO "WIN" THAT!! Next thing you know you're paying retail price for a used seat post. So beware! eBay can be a cold, cruel bitch mother. eBay pulled an incredible marketing coup when they convinced people they were "winning" stuff, not BUYING stuff. Careful out there kids.
EDIT: Found a huge deal on the Race Face Deus XC Seat Post. This is the same post that comes on the the Big Mama Complete bike. This one will have a place on my Big Mama "incomplete" bike :)
I could continue to blather on about nothing in particular, but I feel like I should pay some bills instead. Thus avoiding Debtor's Prison.
Later.
