Not As Planned

Friday did not go as planned. Friday should be a day of slack in my book. Do what you want, get geeked for the weekend. But oh no, I had to do REAL work today. Frig! The Steelers in the Stupor Bowl is really cramping my style at work. If I have to type "big game" "super savings" etc., one more time I might go insane! Oh well, my days there are winding down so f*ck it. :)

My plan was to then come home and get my Yakima rack on the Xb. Could Yakima make it any harder to do?? "slide clips in" slide my ass!! It's was like a freaking puzzle. After 2 hours I said "f*ck it". I'll finish it next week. NOW I have to do a ride tomorrow and put a potentially muddy as hell bike in the back of my 1 month old Box. Great. Freaking Yakima!! I curse you!!

Got registered for the Bakers Dozen today. Holy crap! 280 folks signed up in just over 24 hours!! 80 of the folks are Solos of some sort!! Some of the geared Male Solos include me, Plum Grove Pete, Travis, Matt M., surely Mr. Bob Anderson and MAYBE Pete W.!! OMG! This one is gonna be huge. This is what happens when you put on an event with great trails, free camping, great shwag, and DON'T charge an arm and a leg for entry.

Got my tires changed for tomorrow's snow/mud/sludge fest with the Argyle boys. Should be fun. Or not.
