Groovy

Off from work, and off the bike today, but I still worked my ass off. Eeesh! This IS Friday you know!! B-Man's doctor's appt. was a scene. First the place creeps me out due to the stupid shit they have hanging all over the walls and most of the people that work there are on the shitty side of rude. On top of that, B-Man needed four shots today! And the idiot doctor announces this to him 1 minute into his physical. So THAT made things REAL fun! After that it was a million house things that needed done and grocery shopping (joy). When did a can of black beans become 85¢?? They were like 69¢ about a year ago. That's a serious ass price increase on the magical fruit.

On the bright side of the day- I am REALLY digging the trial version of Freeway that I downloaded yesterday. Super easy! At least so far. I think I will be bypassing any blogger sites (Blogger or WordPress) and just getting a host and laying it out myself. I'm not sure I want the core of XXC to be the web, but I do want a presence there. I want it to look decent AND I want to be able to alter the look without doing code and what not. This seems to fit the bill. I do want it to look nice. In time I'm sure it will expand, but for now designing it this way should be cool. I got 2.5 of the 3 tutorials done, so I think within the week I should be able to get rid of the Blogger site for XXC.

I thought it was funny that I checked out the site where I have the prototype hosted (Scribd) and apparently XXC has made their "hot list". I thought that was cool for about 5 seconds, 'cause I also noticed that some eZine/book about the dangers of early umbilical cord clamping was ALSO on the list. I can see where that would be a cool read so I'm not disrespecting it or anything. OK, maybe I am. Sorry.

With the Big Mama just a box of parts right now, the Mamasita being in various states of "for sale" and the Campeon having a f*cked up chain from it's time on the trainer with a an old road wheel, it looks like me and the Dos Niner will be taking some full knobbies out to cruise some roads and shit farm road tomorrow. Wifey is working some O.T. in the a.m., so I won't be able to get out until after 1 sometime, but it should be nice and "warm" by then. After Wednesday's a.m. temp of 1 degree, tomorrow's high of 48 should feel like Death Valley. OK, by me.
