One To Forget

Still sick and still tired, but I just had to put out there that the week can officially NOT get any worse. On top of the the Doc saying that I have a virus that I just need to "wait out", we had a HUGE wind storm here in PA last night. Power went out all night, and I woke up to THIS in my back yard...

So the day was spent hacking up sticky brown goo from my lungs, wanting to pass out and getting a tree guy here to cut up the fallen tree. Iron Mike is on the case and shit will be gone tomorrow. We're REALLY lucky that this hunk o'tree missed our house as well as my neighbor's house.

But things got even better later today (I'm kidding). I mentioned the other night that Wifey and I are doing a re-fi on our crib. Got a great rate... yada, yada, yada, yada.... The dude calls tonight TONIGHT to tell us the loan is being held up because of chipping paint on the front porch and garage. And that it needs to be scraped and painted before the loan will go through. WHAT???????? IT'S FEBRUARY IN WESTERN PA and the dude wants me to paint my porch within the next 2 days?? I was going to do it and do it right in March or April, but NOT in February! Trying to make a long story short here... the dude must REALLY want his commission, because he admitted it was his fault that he messed up the paper work and is driving up from Maryland with a buddy to paint my porch and garage while I attempt to go back to work tomorrow. I'm still in utter dismay at the week we've had. It must end.

My Reba was set to sell on eBay, then I get an e mail today informing me that the dude retracted his bid. WTF?? He wasn't even the high bidder at the time, but his f-up screwed up the whole process!! GRRRR!!

The ONLY bright spot I had today was talking to Jesus Jason at Pro Bikes and finding out the Big Mama should be good to go tomorrow. IF.... IFFFFFFFF I could PPPPPPOSIBLY be feeling better, I'd love to get her out on Saturday to dial the shock and fit in. Not counting on it though.
