Not Without Bike

Today was a day off the bike, but not a day without bike. 90% of my life involves bike/riding/racing in some way. Today it was getting mad amounts of work done on XXC, and prepping the bikes for a 3+ hour assault on Boyce tomorrow with 1 half of the Schmalzers (the half that rides and is a dude).

The next two days are gonna be dirt-tastic (A.K.A. orgasmic). A few hours at Boyce tomorrow and then Saturday I'm heading to the mountains for the first time this year to get some riding in. I might be doing a group ride with some folks or I might be opting to get a big ass loop with some serious ass climbing in. Either way, it's f*cking sweet!

I spent a sick amount of coin on periodicals today. I ordered up Issue #2 of Embrocation and pre-ordered Issue #3. I can't wait. I'm a sucker for these sort of mags, and as I've mentioned before, Embrocation is a major influence in my want to do an endurance based eMag.

Picked up some Victory Hop Wallop today. One of the best around. Matched it up with a big ass pot of my chili tonight. Nothing goes better with a kick ass pot o'chili like a nice hoppy beer. Look for more on that is issue #1 of XXC. All I can say is that Brad might do his best to stay in front of me tomorrow morning. Eeesh, it's gonna be scene.
