Why I'm An Idiot: Reason 4,021 (and counting)
Finally spent a day off the bike today. Well, sort of. B-Man is ALL ABOUT the Hotrock 16 and wanted to ride today. RIDE ON! So even though it was it was a little bit chilly he took the bike out. I love the fact that my 5 year old was wearing a wool plaid Walz Cap under his Lazer "polar bear" helmet. Protected AND cool.
B-Man motors on the new bike and I couldn't simply walk behind him like I used to (memories...), so I grabbed the Campeon and my helmet and trailed behind him up and down the side walk. He LOVED it and of course wanted to race. Shit, I SMOKED his ass!! Kidding of course. He handed me mine for sure, but we both had a great time, even though I must have looked like an Uber Fred to folks in my jeans, tennis shoes and riding a "10 speed bike" as the local seem to call road bikes.
That was a hoot and would be repeated later in the day, ollowed by soccer and whiffle ball in the back yard. Shit, I'm SPENT! A ride doesn't take it out of me like keeping up with B-Man. This JUST might be my secrect weapon in 2009.

OK, Now to the REAL reason you read this far (other than the apparent lack of ANYTHING at all to do on a Friday night)- Why I'm An Idiot: Reason 4,021 (and counting).
I was e mailing with Don P. today and mentioned to him that I finally registered for The Mohican 100 yesterday. To which he replies "Hey Mr. Moneybags your registered twice for the Mohican now". I thought he was joking. He HAD to be joking, but SURE enough... there it was... I was registered twice. WTF? I've been reminding myself for a couple weeks to register, looks like I already did though. No worries, I got the cash back and all is good. BUT I look like a SUPER freaking knob.
I have retained Don P. as my personal assistant to advise me on matters like what f*cking races I've already registered for!!!
Looking to get some long hour on the dirt tomorrow (joy!). Time to make up some Turkey Ballz (yes, my Friday Night Ballz are back!!) and register for the Lumberjack 100 and Camp Hilbert 5 Hour Enduro.
Later.

FYI, You already booked a hotel room for the Mohican also. Please don't double book.
Big Mama says "Take me somewhere rocky"
Big Mama would love to go somewhere rocky if I HAD the Big Mama, she's still at Pro Bikes waiting for LBoH to bleed the rear brake. Looks like I should have it post ride tomorrow.
I booked a Red Roof for Mohican, righ? ;)
Have a good ride. Talk later.
