Better Than The Last

I once again woke up to snow on the ground. Yeah it's April, there's snow, it's cold... frig... hate, curse words, etc., but there's nothing I can do about it. I can't help it if Ma Nature and Jack Frost are cavorting in some f*cked up, seasonal molestation of sorts, that's their business, I got my own shit to worry about.

After the B-Man drop I headed home cranked out some PDFs like a mad man, and then kitted up for some Maui Rollers on the trainer. Shit was hard! Heart rate was up around threshold the whole time. Felt good to push like that and be on the friggin' trainer! The downside was that 2 hours after my workout, the sun was out, the snow melted and temps got up to 50. But my Mr. Mom duties beckoned, so an hour in Maui would have to do.

Today was so much better than yesterday. I got a workout in, a ton of work done, AND a tone of house shit done. On top of that, B-Man and I FINALLY finished his big ass Lego car. Yikes! That thing was a mother! As a bonus, Wifey doesn't seem to be hatin' me, so that's a bonus.

It looks as if Ma Nature and Jack Frost can stop with the whole Lifetime™ porno of the week "forbidden love" thing, and allow me to get some outside ride time in tomorrow. JOY! It will be road (boo!!) but better than inside.

Time to do some reading and go to bed.
