The Luck Of It All
Wow, I got all caught up in a flurry of work yesterday, and totally forgot about the blog. Strange. I did get a ton done on XXC and all that is left to do is upload it to the site. That should happen sometime today or this weekend. In other words Issue One is done and good to go.
Snuck out for a 2 hour road ride yesterday. Felt good to get out. The Campeon had some finicky shifting issues, but nothing too bad, I think it might be time for a new rear derailleur. My current one is 5 years old and has a LOT of miles on it, and very little TLC from me.
Check out the pic below from CyclingNews.com. Julian Dean (Garmin-Slipstream) went down at Gent-Wevelgem the other day, and he was lucky enough to have photographer up in his grill while the doctors worked on him.
This would be my luck, get some camera time and it's because of a crash, AND I have a big hunk of booger on my face. Nice. Hope he's ok. Road crashes freak me out. I have no problem imagining eating dirt at 15 mph but the thought of crashing on the road at even 3 mph gives me the heebie jeebies..Time to get B-Man ready for Papa-O's and myself ready for an exciting trip to the hematologist.
Later.
