Mid Week Madness

Ok, not exactly "madness", but a BUNCH to do nonetheless! Ran around like a goof this a.m. looking for a fire wire cable so as to transfer data from my old Mac to my new iMac which was to be delivered today. After 3 places, I found one, but something told me to wait until Best Buy opened (an Apple retailer) and make sure I got the right one.

Thankfully I did, 'cause the one I almost bought would have been wrong! The new iMacs have different fire wire plug pins, so I needed to get an Apple one that came with a neat little adapter. Not long after I got home the new iMac was here and I wanted to get her all set up, transfer files, etc., I'm just about all done with that part.

The only suck part is my old PhotoShop won't work for some reason. FRIG! Still trying to get that all sorted out and get all my fonts in line. Thankfully I aborted a ride today in favor of one tomorrow in better in less soggy conditions, because on top of all those computer set ups and issues, I of course needed to do my Dad duties, go to a birthday party for my father in law and continue to organize for this Saturday's race. A busy day, but all good stuff. Looking forward to blowing off some steam on the road tomorrow.

Time to keep transferring files, get in the zone for some riding tomorrow, and get some sleep.
