Sweet Relief...

Got out for a nice 2:25 spin today on ghetto road climbing and rail trails to shake down the Dos Niner and see how the shifting was. Worked great. That is a relief. Legs felt pretty spanky too- and even bigger relief. Now I just have to finish packing the all my bike and camping shit and get my ass to Coburn tomorrow.

In other news- XXC #3 as you know is done. I have re-posted (with the help of a MTBR.com poster) the mag in a smaller and compressed version for faster downloading. It's still a bit large at 8.5MB but that's down from a whopping 64.5MB. My bad on the file size. Look for more changes in the coming months on how XXC is downloaded and viewed. I hope to make the experience a little better for the reader.

I got a case of Pomegranate juice in the mail today from the folks at Pom Wonderful today. I've always wanted to try this "super antioxidant" juice, but would never let myself part with the coin. Some Pom Wonderful person saw my blog, wanted to know if I wanted to try it (I did), and POW! Got me some pomegranate juice in the fridge. Thanks. What I tried so far is good. The flavor is a little intense, but I think with some ice cubes it would be better. Oh, how 'bout with seltzer? That might be a little fizzy kick, or better yet vodka! I'M KIDDING!

Gotta split "I have a headache and the runs". Actually I don't, that's a quote from School of Rock which is B-Man's new favorite movie seriously he has like the movie memorized, except for the cuss words, he gets screamed at for that (ok not screamed at). I've now seen the movie like 20 times this summer! Why do I have the feeling that Saturday when I'm 6 hours deep into the 101 and suffering like a dog, I will NOT be able to get quotes from that movie out of my head?? Which leads me to this YouTube find- B-Man is gonna love this!
