Frig

No ride today. Day was taken up fun stuff like venous dopplers, which were looking at the clots in my leg that don't seem to want to go away. Not thrilled with that news, but hoping for the best come Monday's doctors appointment. So far I've been able to avoid going back on the blood thinners (they never really seemed to thin my blood anyway), and I'm just hoping to KEEP avoiding them.

Along with excitement of letting a middle aged woman rub an electronic device covered with K.Y. Jelly up and down my bare leg for 10 minutes, I was able to... Get the car inspected! Oh yeah! THAT'S EXCITEMENT BABY!!

Trend Setting.

So in the last issue of XXC Mag I did an "Off The Bike" piece about Motorhead. A couple weeks later Rolling Stone (hardly the cutting edge of ANYTHING cool) did an article about Lemmy. Then on October 27th, Bike Snob mentions the Rolling Stone article and how he also is a Motorhead/Lemmy fan. I think it would have been cooler and snobier to see a man reading an article about Lemmy in XXC, but hey, that's just me. ;)

Later.

Hell yes. Lemmy has clots of Jack clogging him up - don't feel too bad. Things will clear up.

My mother has a Vena Cava filter because of blood clots. Not so sure that is the best answer for everyone, but it was for her. A filter is how a pulmonary doctor treats this and blood thinners are how a hematologist treats this. Unfortunately she still had to take comodin for the rest of her life. Hit me up on Email if you want to talk more details on her condition. And watch that Vitamin K!

Motorhead rules. My absolute all time favorite band. Seen 'em in concert MANY times. Lemmy is definitely one of a kind.

You should feel lucky. I am sure there is a fetish somewhere for "middle aged women rubbing an electronic devices covered with K.Y. Jelly up and down your bare leg" Probably have to pay like $200for something like that in the Salty City.

Lemmy is one of a kind.

Manic (james), Was on blood thinners for 5-6 months. Not fun. I've had a bunch of tests on my blood, etc, and no one can figure how it clotted there. I'm all normal. Then when I was on the blood thinners they really did nothing. I watched the vitamin K, all the crap, and given some of the beverages I enjoyed, the blood should have become too THIN. But it didn't. WTF? Oh well, enough of the B.S. (although thanks for the thoughts and the offer), It's time for the weekend..

Time for Lemmy and KY on electric devices at $200 a pop! Oh yeah! Forget XXC, THAT is potential gold mine!
