Lets Call It "Early Base"

I was happy to get out for a nice knobbied road/r.t./ghetto track ride today. Got a hair over 3 hours of saddle time in and ton of steep ass WPA climbing. Not sure what exactly WHAT I'm riding for other than just the sheer love of riding my bike. I have no desire to race right now, just the desire to be on my bike. I guess there's nothing wrong with that. Maybe I'll just say I'm starting my 2010 base now? Then again, I'm not sure there will be any real need for a base in '10! LOL!
