Some Nothingness

Mucho house and mag work today, left no time for riding. Still a good day. As I'm making some real progess on some things for Issue #5. I also chatted with some with some fellow riders about potential jerseys. As much as I liked the striped one I came up with, I think I might want to shrug off any patterns for something a bit more classic looking. Put a couple more "digital thumbnails" up HERE, if you care to look.

I was holed up in B-Man's school for a half hour today while the school was under "lock down" due to a shooting and man hunt that happened a few blocks away. I just walked into the school when it happened. The next thing you know the doors are locked and I'm stuck in a room with a bunch of complaining parents. The best comments were "why do they have to lock down the school? 6th Street is like 3 blocks from here??" and "C'mon I have to bowl tonight!" Yeah never mind a dude was SHOT just 3 blocks from where you kid goes to school!!! WTF? It took everything I had to not laugh/cry/scream at some of these people. Eeesh.

Hope to get out for a couple hours tomorrow. Hope the rain holds off.

Later.

New ideas look good but I miss the stripes.

It's a tough call. I think I will sit on this for a while just to make sure the mag doesn't tank, after #5 is out, and then work on it more. I like both the striped and the reg. It's a tough call for me.

I like the stripes, what about dark red/light red like the blues on the T6 you used as an example.

This time of year though, you need something a bit warmer than that or nobody is going to see it unless they are stalking you in the basement to watch you on your trainer! How about a thermal jersey or a wind vest?

Light red may look too pinkish. These would not be until spring for racin' season ;)
