The Day After
Spent most of the morning drinking a pot of coffee. Spent the other half coming down from said coffee high, wallowing in a winter funk, and staring at (for whatever reason) a documentary on the Military Channel (I can't believe there IS such a thing) about the forming of the League Of Nations after the First Wold War. Damn the morning sucked. Of course I feel the urge to now grow a mustache like Georges Clemenceau.

After some extended wallowing, I realized the roads were clear of snow after yesterday's rains, the temps were above freezing and my need to get out on the bike and blow the Christmas stink off me was at an all time high.
It was great to be out and get the Endocannabinoids firing and pumped. Temps stayed in the high 30s, but the sun was out for most of the ride and made for a nice day in the saddle. The ride was only about 2:20 long, but it beat the trainer or watching anymore of the Military Channel.
It was nice to be back to SOME form of my normal Saturday routine (drink coffee, poop, eat, poop, drink coffee, chamois up and ride. Now it's time to chill with another big mug of green tea and some Mexican food. Gotta say 2 days of "traditional" American foods (ham, turkey, etc.,) has left me SUPER hungry for my normal spicy goodness.Later.
