Lacking

This week has been severely lacking in my normal rants and blathering. It is doubtful at best that my posts were missed. Ha!

Heading into the final week before XXC #8 is published so things have been nuts. On top of that I was in Week II of me being Mr. Mom and running out of steam. Once again I give props to anyone that is a single parent. Yikes!

I got a couple rides in, one a mountain bike road/rail trail ride, and two short, should have stayed at home rides in the woods. The first dirt ride had me with dead legs and a deader brain at Dubya-Oh Park, and the 2nd was just a good ride at Boyce on the Dos Niner that was only cut short by time and some frustration with a bald back tire in the mud (it seems that any rain that WPA may have got this week, must have fallen only on Boyce Park) and some very overgrown trails and wind fall.

Wifey is on her way home as I type, but will be a little late for me to take a trip to the mountains. So that will be delayed a day, and I will use today to work, do dad/husband/house stuff, and watch the Fat Andy do what will surely be an embarrassing attempt at winning the Tour (hope I'm wrong, but I AM realistic!).
