Not Dead (Yet)

Quick update to assure folks (myself?) that I have arrived in Michigan without a major (mental) breakdown LOL. The house is slowly coming together, and my web service should be up and running on Tuesday afternoon. I did get out for a ride on Sunday on some nice single track that loops around the Mid Michigan Community College about 25 minutes away. It was a fast, flowy 10 mile loop that I doubled up on. I was sort of like Boyce except with a little less climbing and a little more open (meaning no brush to smack you in the face). While it was 25 minute trip to get there, it was way easier to get to then to dive to Boyce from White Oak. 1 traffic light, about 3 turns, and 75 mph the whole way there.

I got 20 miles in and was stoked to finally hit some dirt here. A "real" post should be forthcoming, but for now this is it as I'm writing this in Biggby Coffee down the street from my new digz and no access to my camera to DL any pics and what not.

Time to go back to the house and try to get as much done on XXC #9 as I can without Internet service. Then off to join the gym and get read for the kickoff of off season training on November 1st (which is gonna suck!).
