On Watch
Spend the day working, hitting the gym, and working some more. I need to step up if I want the next issue of XXC out by the end of the month. The great thing is that if I don't I won't exactly get fired, so it's not too big of an issue. Pretty stoked on how this one is coming along. Some funny articles, some inspirational articles, some informative articles, and some great pics.
Also spent some time tonight watching some video my buddy Ben was hosting on his site (and his sponsors site) about sports medicine and performance. Pretty good stuff. Some of it was over my head, but as an aging athlete who is marginally talented at best, it was cool to get some insight into what the body needs beyond just "ride lots" and watching what you eat. Couldn't finish it though, as I have to get some sleep (and do this blog post). Something I don't do very well, and SURPRISE! That has a lot to do with performance and recovery. I wonder if laying awake at 4 a.m. every morning could be an issue? Nahhhhhh....
I am also on watch as Wifey has brought the first cold of the year into the house. These people that go out and work among the public really chap my ass. Freaking germ magnets. I kid... I'mmmmm a kidder. So I am hydrating to excess, and avoiding Wifey way more than usual (again with the kidding).
Got some good and spicy bike news today. Lots of fun stuff going down in 2011. I just need the snow to melt and the trails to dry up. Soon enough I suppose. Until then I'll just keep doin' what I'm doin' and hope for the best come spring!
Later.

I do have a few question, I might DL that power point at some point. I believe it was mentioned somewhere that it's available, was it not?
Thanks for you efforts too.
