Got a sweet 40 mile ride in today. Perfect weather, good legs, and the want for the week to be over so I/we can head off to the Ore To Shore and a week of riding in the U.P. I am a HORRIBLE vacationer, but I am hoping with the race, and all the riding I can do my mind will be distracted from being away from my crib and my routine.

No Hunting/trespassing signs are the #1 road side signage in these parts. I don't argue with 'em, just take pictures of them.

This tractor was hauling a trailer full of cow shit. Gravel Road Rule 4.3b- Keep a safe, and dung spatter free distance from the dung trailer. NO one wants to wipe shit off their face.

I'm out. Time to attempt to have fun on vacation, get some riding in and do some racing. There is a host of new posts up at xxcmag.com's blog, and may be a few through the week, as I WILL have Wi-Fi in the U.P., and blogging helps keep me sane.
