Nothing To See Here, Move Along...

Wow, there is really nothing going on right now worth blogging about. Been doing a ton of updates at xxcmag.com if you are the sort that actually wants to read about cycling on a cycling blog. Feel free to check it out by clicking HERE.

I guess I could come up with something bike related... Ah, ummm.... I have a pair of TRP CX 9 brakes on order at Terry Cycles in beautiful downtown Alma.

Now I can finally get rid of the crap canti brakes and have something that is reported to have a bit more stopping power without a weight penalty. Then again, I am not sure that crap bike racers who move up a kit size every year should be worrying about the weight of their brakes. They should be in stock in a week or so, so hopefully I can give some feedback on how they compare to the crap cantis I have on the Jake The Snake now.

Not sure what I am doing the rest of the year race wise. I've sworn of cross, there's a 50 gravel grinder race this Saturday, but not sure I feel like it. I've done more than my share of racing this year and have just been enjoying the ride right now. I'm not even sure I am going to do Iceman. Lot of logistics involved that are proving to be a pain in my ass to race with 4,000 other people. Oh well, we'll see, we're creeping into the season that I (no so) affectionately call "warm bath and razor blade season" A.K.A. the trifecta of mental stress, hate, general self loathing and miserableness that is Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, so I could use something to keep my mind occupied.

OK, this little love fest is over right now, got crap to do.

Later.
