Unreal (In a good way).

The weather this week sucked. It was cold and windy as hell and it pissed down rain most of the week and up 'till today I only got outside once. Which leads to today...

I had no real desire to head out on the dirt roads today, nothing against them, I just needed some real dirt... I needed singletrack. I headed up to the MMCC trails thinking that they would be the best bet for riding after a week of rain, which they were. But I was AMAZED that I rode 21 miles and there was not a spec of mud on me or my bike. FREAKY! But also FREAKING AWESOME!

I continue to be amazed with how the soil sucks up water here/there. The trees are pretty void of all leaves right now, and staring at the trail was like looking into a kaleidoscope, but luckily I ride there so much that it was pretty easy to follow the trail.

There were a few other folks out riding, but oddly I never saw them on the trail. Come fall, every ride without snow is a blessing.

Today's ride rocked, I should have rode 3 or 4 laps, but stopped happy and content with two laps of amazingly fun trails.
