Back In The 989

After 5ish days of holiday travel, visiting and eating we are back in the 989 (we're back in central Michigan). Good food was had, good people and family were visited with and good times were had. I could do without all the driving and traffic, but whatcha-gonna-do? Such is life living away from family, etc.,

Lots of work to catch up on this coming week and lots of "training" to get back to. It's been sort of nice to be off the bike for a bit, but I realized that I don't do much that doesn't involve bikes. Looking forward to some low key riding up to the new year, getting back to my regular diet, and then turning attention to 2012.

--------------

BTW, many Soiled Chamois readers have been calling and e mailing me, asking about the change in the layout and font of the blog (OK, I admit no one has). Truth be told I just got tired of the old one. Not crazy about this, but I like the Courier font. It gives a real typed manifesto feel to the blog and basically that's what this is.

Later.

The new layout does look better. Dunno about the "manifesto" creds though.

Gettin' ready for slop season? NE OH is certainly too wet to get any dirt miles - not that I'm allowed to ride anyway (2 more weeks).

Yeah, fenders will be on soon, mud will be plentiful.

Good luck in your recovery.
