More Ketchup Please...
Wow, this week fllllllew by. Sadly this was the view that I saw before each ride this week...
Other than the view above of the descent into hell and an hour each day on the trainer as it pissed down snow and ice, the rest of the week was me looking straight on at the computer screen and saying "what the fuck?" out loud. I have finally took on the challenge of learning InDesign (although be it a much older version than what is currently available) for laying out XXC Magazine. Its been a slow week of mistakes and learning but the new challenge was nice. I figure the whole XXC ride can't last forever before I have to turn with my tail betweenst my legs and try to find a design job in a landscape (MP) void of all design jobs, so I better learn the industry standard for page layout if I want to get back to being "rhythmic slapped" by "the man" and waste time looking for a soulless job with a steady paycheck.
The rest of the week was filled with securing stories (unsuccessfully) for XXC #15 and getting all ready to record the next XXC Podcast.
Wifey gave me shit for not updating by blog this week. She finds it "soothing" to find out what I'm up to. I find it irritating to type the dross that is my so called cycling life. I've read better shit on walls of pre race porta potties.
Time to go.
