Back To Dirt
Still making progress with the arm. From trainer to road and now back to full on gravel. The gravel goodness could not have come too soon as I was UBER tired of the road in 35 mph cross winds with cars passing at 60 mph on 2 lane farm roads.
But gravel.... oh blessed gravel road. I really don't know how one could not like them. They must be even better in hillier parts of the state and sates like Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota. But I'll take what I can get. I still think I should be able to get a 100 miler in this year on 95% gravel roads. At least I hope.
All I know is that the move from paved roads to gravel roads is like having a 10 ton weight of worry lifted off your back. Now I just need to get the ability to pull up hard on the bars again and I can think about hitting some singletrack. Sure hope that happens soon. It's been tooooo long.
Don't have a lot of time, so just gonna throw down this slide show from today.
Later.

Well alright! Them sure are some fun looking dirt roads. And that leg - you guys have wolves (or wolverines) or something up there?

I'm sure there's coyotes probably their nasty work.
